The Challenge
Logan's 3D Creations had outgrown its original coral-and-cream brand identity designed for craft fairs. The friendly gift card design—featuring the Flexi-Rex alongside a seahorse dragon, baby dragon, and tree frog—was perfect for vendor events, but as the business expanded into short production runs, custom manufacturing, and nationwide shipping, it needed a brand refresh that would appeal to business clients without losing its playful roots.
Our Solution
We developed a bold rebrand centered on a dark, futuristic aesthetic with cyan and orange accent colors that evoke high-tech manufacturing. The new identity features a 3D printer hero image printing a glowing cube, reinforcing the 'Turning Ideas Into Reality' tagline. The beloved Flexi-Rex—a flexible, articulated T-Rex that became the company's unofficial mascot at craft shows—was preserved and given prominence in the new design. The original gift card template with its cast of 3D printed characters remains in active use, creating a charming bridge between the brand's humble beginnings and its professional evolution.
The Results
The rebrand successfully repositioned Logan's 3D Creations as a professional manufacturing partner while maintaining its approachable personality. The dual identity works beautifully: the sleek dark branding attracts business clients seeking custom production runs, while the classic gift cards with the Flexi-Rex and friends keep longtime collectors and craft fair customers feeling right at home. The cohesive identity now works seamlessly across the e-commerce website, print advertising, and vendor event displays.
